Founded in the Ffteenth Century by the Counts of Acquaviva, Alberobello is one of the most picturesque and charming towns in Apulia.
It has 1500 trulli houses of various types, a unique scenario overall. The most striking destinations are the narrow streets of Monti and Aia Piccola neighbourhoods.
Il Trullo sovrano (the largest trullo in the town), the sanctuary of SS. Medici and the church of S. Anthony, also shaped as a trullo, built in 1926.

The white town is located in the province of Brindisi, at an altitude of 229 meters and scattered over three hills.
It counts 33,000 inhabitants and a breathtakingly beautiful town centre.
Ostuni is divided into two areas: the hill to the Itria Valley (just 10 km away), and the flat olive grove valley.
The green olive trees surrounded by red clay continue to the sea views of the Ostuni marina, 20 km from Lido Morelli (Coastal Dune Park) to Lamaforca.
The town is full of pubs, both for families and young people.
It is a h2, modern town, well integrated with its ancient history and architecture of an extraordinary town.

Castellana Caves

Castellana Caves are a complex of underground caverns located in the town of Castellana Grotte, near Bari
The caves were discovered in 1938 by the speleologist Franco Agnelli.
Two sightseeing routes are available: the short one, approximately a mile long which takes around 50 minutes, and the full 2 hour route. It is possible to visit chambers bearing curious names, such as: Cavernetta del Presepe (Nativity chamber), Grotta Nera (Black cavern), Corridoio dell’Angelo (the Angel’s passage), Caverna del Precipizio (The Precipice cavern), Laghetto dei Cristalli (Crystal lake) and Grotta Bianca (White cave).
It is extraordinary how the caves change depending on time of day, day, seasons, offering visitors a spectacular light show.

Fasano Zoo Safari

The Fasano Safari Park is the largest wildlife park in Italy and is one of the largest in Europe. 200 different animal species are kept here, and a total number of 1,700 animals.
Covered with Mediterranean maquis amongst olive trees and carobs, the Zoo spreads over140 hectares. The animals roam freely, and may approach to the public of their own free will. Around 8 different tracks are available, depending on what you wish to see. The park is suitable for visitors of all ages and often organizes a variety of shows in the large multi-purpose theatre.

Itria Valley

The Itria Valley is a way of life.
It is an area of central Apulia encompassing the provinces of Bari, Brindisi and Taranto, and includes the towns of Alberobello, Noci, Locorotondo, Martina Franca, Crispiano, Villa Castelli, Ceglie, Cisterino and Fasano.
The flora consists of stretches of forest and Mediterranean maquis and vineyards from which a white wine of excellent quality is produced, including the Locorotondo DOC and Martina Franca DOC. And ancient olive groves of course, which produce extra virgin olive oil.
And for those who wish to make an event out of their holiday, the Itria Valley offers that as well. Plenty of events, exhibitions, initiatives.

The castle was built at the highest location of the town, between 1225 and 1233, by order of Emperor Frederick II.
The castle is shaped like an isosceles triangle with the base on the south side and the apex to the north, and has three towers along the south wall. The old castle is also known as the “Giant stone gem”. The castle has been home to princes, knights, marquis and barons, in addition to being a destination for scholars from around the world. A visit the church of the Medici Saints is a must, where Holy Mass is held from 9:00 to 12:00 on Sundays, one every half hour.
